To my great uncle Harry Leslie Barradell. He joined up in August 1914 when he was only 15 years old. After his father got him out of the army for being underage he enlisted in the RFC in 1917 when he was old enough. He was killed in a flying accident in April 1918 when he was only 18. His younger brother Edward Bertram Barradell was killed in action in World War Two serving with the RAF.
